Marcellina DesChamps is the Associate Director of Program and Operations at the Center for Child and Family Well-Being. Marcellina works behind the scenes at CCFW to implement and improve administrative processes for our programming and events. She additionally oversees marketing, communications, and advancement efforts for the Center.
Prior to joining CCFW, Marcellina spent more than 10 years in the non-profit sector focused on supporting children and youth. She has trained and led teams internationally, led fundraising initiatives for early childhood education, homelessness, and poverty alleviation, and developed administrative processes for new and growing nonprofits. Marcellina brings extensive experience in event management as she has planned and executed over 200 events and performances. She brings skills in program management, community development, administrative leadership, fundraising, and public relations.
Marcellina studied at the University of Washington where her studies focused on human rights, particularly the rights of women and children, and racial disparities in the US criminal justice system. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Societies, and Justice and Political Science from the University of Washington. Marcellina joined the CCFW team in 2017.
