Supporting A Future with Strong, Resilient Children
Imagine a world where all children grow up supported by their communities and equipped with the social and emotional skills they need to thrive. What could their futures hold?
We established the Center for Child and Family Well-Being because there was essential child development, mental health and family research being conducted at the University of Washington and elsewhere – but current research findings and evidence-based best practices were not getting to the parents and practitioners who needed them most.
That’s why we’re here. Our goal is to make sure current research and practices are available and accessible to everyone, especially those families and communities experiencing inequity and adversity. Every gift makes a it possible for us to continue to conduct innovative research and equip parents and practitioners with the tools and practices they need to ensure a bright future for the next generation.
Together, we’re working towards a future where all children and families can thrive.
