Madison is a research coordinator for the CCFW. She became involved in reference management tasks and behavioral coding for the NEW Moms Connect project in 2021. She is currently supporting participant outreach, online survey building, and other administrative duties for the SEACAP program.
Madison is studying Psychology at the University of Washington and will graduate in the spring of 2025. She is broadly interested in the caregiving processes and socialization experiences that support children’s socio-emotional adjustment. She also has a particular interest in the socio-cultural contexts that influence parental well-being, development of supportive caregiving behaviors, and the differential effects of these behaviors on children across communities. She hopes to work with caregivers and families in research and clinical settings in the future.
