An hour long monthly drop in session to cultivate mindfulness and compassion as a grandparent. We invite you to join us to explore the many ways being a grandparent both facilitates and challenges you to step into even more mindfulness and compassion in your life and relationships.

Lead by Diane Hetrick, Mindfulness and Compassion instructor over the years at CCFW and a recent grandmother, this is an opportunity for you to:

  • Mindfully reflect on various aspects of being a grandparent
  • Engage in a guided meditation practice, related to this reflection
  • Participate in small breakout groups to listen and support each other; as well as whole group reflection and discussion

Being a grandparent is a special opportunity in life. This drop in session is designed to help you be in that role with more joy, reward, satisfaction and awareness, which may benefit your relationship with your grandchild(ren), their parents/your child, and even other relationships in your life.
