Drop-in Session: Being With What is and Choosing a Response

Elizabeth H. B. Lin MD, MPH

About this Event

Recognizing the current reality, this mindfulness session will illustrate how to use an open and curious approach to experience the moment. From this space, the answer to “what is called for at the present moment?” can emerge with awareness and kindness. This session will cover various in-the moment practices such as pause (“STOP”), befriending oneself, recognizing how we are all interconnected, sending care and good will all around. These can be practiced as brief moments, many times a day.

CCFW is pleased to offer these drop-in sessions for free. We welcome contributions to our Mindfulness Outreach Support Fund to increase the accessibility of our paid courses and community trainings for individuals working with children and families facing adversity. Visit our “Make a Gift” page to make a donation and support others with limited resources.
