Mindful Self-Compassion

A scientifically-based program that enhances physical and mental well-being, as well as relationships with others. Participants will learn ways to apply awareness and self-kindness in their daily life through experiential exercises, short talks, and interactive group discussions.

From Ally to Antiracist: Cultivating and Committing to Action in the Face of Life’s Obstacles

A four-week course focused on using mindfulness, acceptance, and evidence-based behavior change strategies from psychological science to increase participants’ commitments to and engagement in antiracist action in the face of common obstacles such as anxiety, passivity, and defensiveness. This course is intended for participants who believe racism and discrimination are tremendous problems in our society but who have been unable to consistently translate those values into action.

Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT)

CCTโ„ข is an 8-week program, developed at Stanford University, with insights and techniques from psychology, neuroscience, and contemplative practice. The course integrates evidence-based meditation techniques, interactive discussions, and lectures as well as real-world exercises to put learning into practice. Becca leads CCFWโ€™s training, partnerships, research, and program development for CCFW’s well-being promotion programs for new parents (NEW Parents Connect), providers (REAL Pro), and youth and young adults ( Be REAL). She previously managed the NEW Moms Connect study, which included conducting mindfulness and self-compassion interventions for pregnant and postpartum women facing economic adversity. Her
