Research on MBSR consistently demonstrates positive outcomes for a wide variety of challenges including highly stressful work or family circumstances, sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression and chronic pain. Attitudes of kindness, openness and patience provide a foundation for the practices of sustained focus, self-regulation and self-exploration with each week centering on a theme to support the individualized application of mindfulness to daily life. 

Drop-in Session: Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

An informational overview and experiential introduction to the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class. We will explore such questions as: What is Mindfulness? How can I be more Mindful in my day-to-day life? What interferes with and prevents this from navigating with ease? Several experiential skills will be introduced. Hopefully, this drop-in will cultivate more curiosity and desire for the 8-week class series.
